Set Up a Yahoo Account in iPhone Mail
If you don’t have one, you can create a free Yahoo Mail account by visiting Yahoo and completing a simple application. To set up your Yahoo email account in the iPhone Mail app:
Access Yahoo Mail in iPhone Mail
Now that you have set up your account on the iPhone, you can check your Yahoo email at any time. To do this: Optionally, also toggle the switches next to Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes to the On position.
Access Yahoo Mail in Safari or the Yahoo Mail App
You don’t have to add Yahoo Mail to the iPhone Mail app to access your email on the phone. You have other options.
Tap the Safari web browser icon on the iPhone Home screen and enter the Yahoo mail URL. After you enter your username and password, you can view your Inbox on the iPhone screen. Download the Yahoo Mail app (which Yahoo recommends over the other methods). After you log in, you can read, organize, and send emails from all your inboxes.
